Our mandate is to facilitate and stimulate economic growth and attract new investment into the Durban metropolis, creating opportunities that benefit businesses, communities, and the city as a whole.

Proactive connecting and marketing of the City’s major investment projects and core strategies;

Identifying and developing new investment and business infrastructure opportunities for investors, while empowering existing local entrepreneurs;

Attracting, supporting, and facilitating prospective new foreign investors into Durban; &

Improving the overall investment and economic development environment, in close partnership with national, provincial, city, and business authorities.
